Upside Down Mangrove Roots
When I was carving this one (upside down), I couldn’t help but be reminded of the mangrove roots that you’ll find all along the shores of Southwest Florida. Turned right-side up, the carvings look like flowers reaching to the sky. Either way, this might be my favorite bowl of all. Made from a swirly mix of dark brown clay with a very cool bubbly-textured satin white glaze, I hope it’s your favorite too.
